Kids Came To Shop To Check Out My Work

Was doing a in-frame rebuild, kids wanted to take a look to see what was in one of them dirty old diesel's... This is Bernie (right) and Denis (left) again... It's the cab over that I use to drive... you can see the cab above there heads... I was doing what they call a in-frame overhaul, it's where you strip'er down to the heads, pull the oil pan, push out the rods and pistons, then pull the liners (cylinder sleeves), then clean things up, put new liners, pistons, rings, rod bearings, do the valves, and slap the heads back on with all the other hardware, then your good for a few more miles... If no work needs to be done to the block or crank, you can rebuild the engine sitting between the frame rails...
